Super. Mal was Negatives! - Super. Something negative!

Gerade das Testergebnis vom PCR Test erhalten. Christa und ich sind Negativ. Damit steht unserer Einreise nach Namibia fast nichts mehr im Wege.

Heute morgen (Sonntag der 08.11.2020) waren wir in Frankfurt auf dem Flughafen und haben uns dort dem PCR Test unterzogen. Es ist ganz nett unangenehm (zum kotzen), wenn die Mädels mit dem Probennehmer tief im Hals rum fummeln. Aber nach kurzer Zeit war alles überstanden. 

Das Ganze ging so schnell, dass wir im Parkhaus nur für 20 Minuten, also nur einen Euro, bezahlen mussten. Die angebrochene Stunde hätte sonst sechs Euro gekostet. Wir waren um 11:00 Uhr dort und am Abend, kurz vor 18:00 Uhr hatten wir das Ergebnis.

Das einzige was uns jetzt noch fehlt ist das Working Permit aus Namibia. Da wir ja sehr lange bleiben und ich wegen meinen Verhandlungen mit der NCAA, der Namibischen Luftfahrtbehörde, nicht nur Tourist bin, halten wir es für besser, wenn wir eine Arbeitsgenehmigung für Namibia haben. Leider ist es wie immer in Namibia. Angeblich ist das Permit genehmigt, aber in der Hand haben wir es nicht. Erfahrungsgemäß kommt es einen Tag vor Abflug. Hoffentlich!

Just got the test result from the PCR test. Christa and I are negative. So there is almost nothing standing in the way of our entry into Namibia.

This morning (Sunday the 08.11.2020) we were at the airport in Frankfurt and underwent the PCR test. It is quite unpleasant (makes me puke) when the girls fiddle with the sampler deep in their throat. But after a short time everything was over. 

The whole thing went so fast that we only had to pay for 20 minutes in the parking garage, so only one Euro. Otherwise the started hour would have cost six euros. We were there at 11:00 a.m. and in the evening, shortly before 6:00 p.m., we had the result.

The only thing we are missing now is the working permit from Namibia. Since we are staying very long and I am not only a tourist because of my negotiations with the NCAA, the Namibian Cicil Aviation Authority, we think it would be better to have a working permit for Namibia. Unfortunately it is like always in Namibia. Allegedly the permit is approved, but we do not have it in our hands. According to experience it comes one day before departure. Hopefully!
